Yeah, he's always been my favorite artist, I first heard about him in 1999 when he did The Saga Begins (actually I had heard some of his songs before, but I never knew it was him)

I mean it just seems like all my friends at my school hadn't heard of him except for White and Nerdy, they may not even have known it was him, they just liked the song...

Yes I have. I had Straight Outta Lynwood ordered before I heard what songs were going to be on it. I barely had known who he was parodying, let alone what. I'm proud to say that "White And Nerdy", while it's a good song , is NOT my favorite song, either on this ALbum or from his entire song list. I notice all the hype about it and can't help but wonder if "Couch Potato" would have been this popular if not for Eminem.

Yeah I've heard of him. He makes fun of a lot of songs. I remember years ago when Coolio had made a song for "Dangerous Minds" soundtrack called "Gangsta's Paradise. Weird Al came out with almost the same song except it was called"Amish Paradise". He's insane but I have to admit that I really like his music.

Weird Al has been the song parody king for at least 20 years. The first tune I can remember him doing was "Eat It" a parody of Michael Jackson's "Beat It"

Of course! Been a fan since "Fat" came out. I was all over this new album before the W&N song became so popular - true Al fans will always adore him!

Yeah, I remember back in the gap when MTV used to do like marathons of his videos. You know like, I'm Fat, Amish Paradise...all the classics.

Yup. The first song I ever heard by him was "A Complicated Song", his parody of Avril Lavigne's song, "Complicated."
