i'm trying to play stickarena but i always get kicked because of high ping. i have satellite internet with 100mbs speed, i only have one browser open. what can i do to get rid of ping

The distance and number of hops from the connection between the satellite and modem also matters.
Make sure to give the shortest, most direct line from the satellite to the modem, and try to bypass and splitters. You want your signal from the satellite to be as 'pure' as possible without items that can reduce your bandwidth artificially (re: things you can control).

Satellite tends to be slower than other internet connections; I'm not surprised that your ping times are higher.
Make sure you disable any firewall hardware or software that might be interfering.

close any unneeded programs while gaming online. No downloading internet windows or burning or whatnot. Use Cntrl Alt Delete and end any unneeded tasks. Then try.
