He has the Jets much improved and beating expectations. I'd say that makes him a good coach.

I'm a die hard Jets fan, and I have to, I think Eric Mangini is the best thing that has happened to this team in years. I never liked Herman Edwards or his stlye and I think Edwards was a terrible coach and I think he still is.

Mangini brought disicpline and hard work to a team that was dying. Everyone picked the Jets to go 3-13, 4-12 this year, and now look at them. They're 8-6 and in the middle of the AFC Wild Card hunt. Even if they were to finish at 8-8 this season, I would be happy with the direction Mangini is taking this team.

how can you not like him. In all their games so far he has had him team in the game (except the jags game) he is a great game planner and he gets the most out of his players. I dont like the 3-4 defense and i wish they would switch to the 4-3 sometimes but other than that i think the jets have a bright future with him as their coach. They need a strong draft to fill some needs but give them a year or 2..you will some serious contention from the jets

Hes really good. Hes made the Jets a foce to be reckoned with and hes only 35 or something.
