we were put on this earth so we could live life to the full in God's creation. Life on this earth is the leading up process to whats beyond; the afterlife, which is an eternal thing. it depends how we live this life to what we will do in the next

yes i have read a purpose driven life book too.
it says that life on this earth is only to prepare you for eternity.
life on earth is only the backstage performance for the real show to begin; that is life after death- eternal life.
this is directly quoted from the book
"living to create an earthly legacy is short sighted goal.
a wiser use of time is to build eternal legacy."
yesshh.
i believe that living life on this earth is also to build a better world for the next generation.
however, it seems that we are doing the opposite ):
