Something you NEED to get done. The order of importance.
What you MUST do.
For example: when you prioritize,
Lets say you have homework but your friends invited you to a movie or whatever, you REALLY WANT to go but you HAVE to finish your homework. Instead of going to the movies, you finish your homework. That would've went down better if you did your homework as soon as you got home in case any plans were to arise. At that time if you had finished your homework, you would be able to go out with them.
