Jay-z is the greatest rapper period.Better then Rakim,Nas,2 Pac,BIG,Big Daddy Kane,Big L,Kool G Rap.LL Cool J.Better then all the rest.

First of all, don't ask the question if you already have your mind made up on the answer.
Second, Jay-z is a sell-out, and he wasn't that good to begin with BEFORE he sold out. Unoriginal and uninspired. Has he ever shown any conviction, or rapped about anything meaningful?
Chuck D gets my vote, and if you want me to name someone more current, Missy Elliott.

Jay-Z was in the argument along with B.I.G and Pac, but this Kingdom Come album has lost him alotta rap cool points.

Honestly, Rap is rap. It almost all sounds the same to me. Give me a nice beat. A really nice beat. And vocals I can tolerate, one's I like listening to in accordance to the beat preferably, and you'll have best song in my eyes. For example: Getting money - Jr Writer feat 40 Cal.
