Maybe you should try birth control... I know you want a kid, but going on the pill for a while first will regulate your periods. You can then go off them, and try conceiving again. Going through this for 2 years must be stressful, and stress isn't helping your chances of conception! Perhaps taking this time to regulate yourself will also be helpful in reducing your and your husband's stress. It's kind of a break for the two of you, and when you again begin to try, you'll have a renewed spirit about it all!
Good Luck!

Maybe try starting having sex the day after your period finishes and then every second day for about 10 to 12 days.

My husband and I tried the ovulation calender for a few months and nothing happened. We had sex a few days before the fertile day, on the fertile day and a few days after.

I had a feeling that I was ovulating in the days before what the calender stated so last month we started having sex the day after my period ceased then every second day for 10 to 12 days and we are now 5 weeks pregnant.

Hope this helps.

Well I know you need to go to the doc...he can help with that. My best Friend d is very irregular she has her period non stop and will stay on it for months then will stop for months. They put her on medimorfine and clomid to make her conceive and after 3 months she did finally start ovulating but no baby. ( she decided not to have a baby right now) but the main thing is you want to be regular so that you will ovulate because that is the key to being able to conceive so just talk to your doc because with out help you might not be able to conceive!!! There is no other way but to have medical intervention!!

You deffinatly need to find a reproductive endoctrinologist (fertility specialist). I had the same problem, my regular dr and OBGYN would just keep putting me off and finally at the 2 1/2 yr mark of trying I saw a specialist. I found out I had PCOS, was put on Clomid to help me ovulate regularly (which regulated my cycle)...then was put on Metformin to help control my PCOS.
Find a specialist and get some help!!

Really, only your doctor can help you here. I do not know of any "magic pill" that you can take to regulate your period other than birth control - and obviously that isn't going to fix your problem! If your doctor can't offer any suggestions or remedies, I don't know who can. Maybe you're going to have to have sex daily! The other thing you can do is an ovulation calculator or kit. You can test regularly to see if you are ovulating.

This is awfully hard to understand without periods--the grammatical ones!

You need to see a fertility specialist. They are used to dealing with irregular periods, the fertility kind.
