Quad Core Intel® Xeon® X5355, 2x4MB Cache, 2.66GHz, 1333MHz FSB
That's 4 processors on one chip :) YES PLEASE. You can configure both Dell's and Apple's with this chip.

This may sound strange but the highest spec. computer out there at the moment is the ps3 (playstation). Stick your own operating system on it and you will have the fastest desktop around. Im not sure what o/s you can put on it although definatly know you can put linux on it.

The processor is Intel Core 2 Duo EXTREME. You can buy it from dell or alienware. Both cost over $3,000.
