Why do young people get Asbos? Why do they go down the wrong path? What can or should we do to help them? What kind of background or history do they have? I would love to talk to someone with an Asbo for a paper I am writing. Can Christianity help?

I think this society we experience today is more full of fragmented and dysfunctional families than ever before in history!

This "upbringing" is going to have an impact on the kids. Many have no home-life and if they do it's not a happy one and the only thing they know is not to "live" but to "survive"! As the saying goes it's the survival of the fittest! This leads to anti-social behaviour and in the worse cases they get an ASBO (Anti-Social Behaviour Order - for my American friends).

Can youth ministry help? Yes I think so. Though I don't necessary think it has to be Christian (though to have spiritual guidance and perseverance in dealing with difficult situations is one great help)!

A young person (like any human being) needs to have his needs fulfilled. S/he needs to know is respected as a person, loved, cared for and accepted for the person s/he is in the community.

Families sometimes fail. I think there should be a place where young people can go which is a safe environment and get support.

affirmation bias is recurring characteristic of an untrained strategies, the project is compounded by the reality that a great variety of falsehood has crept into Islam by way of fake and fabricated comments wrongly ascribed to the Prophet Pbuh and declared Sahih. for this reason the ensuing shaky base understanding contributes in direction of fixation on the falsehood or rather much less important component of Deen.

What is asbos?
If you mean should children become involved with groups that teach one religion is better than another or foster ideas that they are some how superior because of their beliefs then NO!!
