For someone who makes $8M plus a year the punishment was nothing! At the very least he should have gotten a one game suspension plus a bigger fine. These morons keep getting away with just about everything. What's your thoughts?

If a person on the street spits on someone walking by, the person spitting can be arrested for assault. It's on the books. So how in the hell does this jerk not, like you said, at the very least get a suspension of at least a game? I don't want to hear people say that there is no difference how people are treated in our society. That's crap! More than anything else T.O. is a complete low life and if not for football would be robbing gas stations. He should thank his lucky stars the God gave him a talent that few have. Instead of being grateful and humble he acts like a typical everyone owes him. He just keeps burning his bridges!!

Spitting in someones face is without a doubt the most disrespectful thing you can do, but I don't believe he deserves a suspension for that. I mean we're talking the NFL with 16 regular season games...not like the NBA with 82 games can hand out 10 game suspensions like candy. NFL teams would be crippled if the league suspended players for every little offense.

I think TO should be fined probably like 50 Gs and let Deangelo Hall spit in his face

While it was a very degrading thing for Deangelo Hall no physical harm was done. Had the refs seen it they would have ejected him out of the game. Nobody really knew about it until Deangelo Hall mentioned it in his press conference. He'll pay his fine and that will be it. Personally I am more upset that the guy that did the cheap shot on Trent Green wasn't fined and suspended.

Ok I agree with you. He wont even know that the money is missing. He is such a jerk! For as good as he thinks he is, he is a very poor sportsman. Notice how the guys who actually do something have class and this bozo who leads the league in dropped passes (great stat for a WR) is a cocky jerk. And the guy that knows TO and Hall-good for you. I think you just wanted to brag about how you knew them and really dont care that he got fined. and from what I have seen Hall is pretty mad about it. He has been griping in all of the interviews (not that I blame him) so apparently you didn't talk to him about the incident!

This question is ridiculous...I work in the sports industry (public relations), I know both Terrell Owens and DeAngelo Hall, I live in Atlanta and I'm a huge Falcons fan. The fine was plenty for the situation, somebody mentioned jail time and how spitting in someone elses' face constitutes assault....if you pressed charges for someone spitting in your face, I feel sorry for you and your miserable life. DeAngelo fouled the hell out of Terrell that whole game because that's all he could do....both being incredibly fast, the big mismatch was T.O.'s height and I don't blame Parcells or Romo for exposing that mismatch, which they very much so did. Get over the whole incident....D. Hall isn't worried about it and I'm sure it isn't going to effect your Christmas dinner.

You need to chill a bit.

I bet that if the nose tackle would spit on the center or guards, not only would we not be talking about it, but it would not even make the news. I guarantee there is much worse, dirtier stuff that goes on in every game. The kind of stuff that actually causes physical injury. The punishment was just.

u know what. forgett money. these people dont feel it. Better yet we should hold a public spitting session. Cornerbacks and a few other lucky paying citizens should get the chance to spit on T.O. Then give the money to charity. Better than the commish shoving the fee in his fat a ss and vacationing with it. This has to be the best solution and the best answer. Thank you.

I know, I understand your point...but he has lost his repect [if there was some] among different people. This season proved that he is nothing without Danavon Mcnaib and Eagles anyway. He sucks.

I personally can't stand T.O. , but the fine is enough. No one was physically hurt.
