Like you said, everyone is different. If you have strong ab muscles or are skinny, you will show later than if your muscles werent so strong. (even though it seems as though skinny women shoud show ealier due to their size).
Also, if you have a long torso, you will show later due to there being more room for your expanding uterus/growing baby.
I am only 5'3, and was abotu 115 pre pregnancy, with pretty good ab muscles. I didnt really start showing until I was abotu 4 months...at 15 weeks I had a TINY bump. I, like you, was SO anxious to show off being preggo...wanting that big old belly! I am not 31 weeks pregnant, and still 'small' for as far along as I am, however, there is NO DOUBT that I am pregnant...my belly is sticking out nicely now. lol
I am pretty thankful that I am not huge...I'm more comfortable, and will more than likely lose the weight/flab easier than if I were HUGE!
Also, do not try to eat mroe to get bigger...you will onyl gain weight all over your body and get chunky.
Also...each woman carries differently. I am carrying all out in front. From teh back you cant even tell I am pregnant...it just looks liek I swallowed a basketball. I am all belly and caryign low. Some women carry on the sides as well...and up higher...so they woudl look differently pregnant than I do.
As long as youre healthy and your little baby is healthy, so nto owrry abotu how much you are showing. (I was in the 'looking fat' stage for a long time...wehre I just looked fat rather than pregnant...but it was still all baby). You will eventaully show ALOT...and you might even get sick of your big belly being int eh way! LOL
Good luck and congrats!
Also, you might want to check out/join this website:
www.babycenter.com
They have "birth Clubs" on that site that allow you to ask questions and get to knwo other women who are due int eh same month as you (its free to join). They have belly pictures posted on there (in the birth club section)...so you can compare your size to others...and even see how everyone grows differently!

I just had my first child and did not start showing until about 5 months. I actually wore a long slinky dress to my office Christmas party at 4 1/2 months pregnant and no one could tell I was.
I guess it also depends on your build. I am about 5'11 and normally between a size 4-6. I am athletic and big boned and I guess I could carry a bit differently than someone more petite.
Now, all of that said, be careful what you wish for. I ended up gaining 50 pounds! I was up to a size 10 when he was born. I was trying to remember when I wasn't showing on the day he was born. I also carried so much of him in the front. In fact. you could not tell from the back that I was even pregnant at full term.
He is now 18 mos. I lost all my baby wieght about 8 months ago.
Don't be in a rush. You will start showing soon enough. Be thankful you can still wear some of your cute clothes. Then when you do start to show, just be thankful as well. It's such a gift.
Congrats and good luck!!

I didn't show until I was 6 months and I'm 5'4". I know how you feel! I wanted to show but at the same time I was happy and proud that I was able to keep it all in. When you start to show it happens quickly but it's not like you wake up in the AM and have an 8 month belly. I liked it when I showed because I was so excited to be pregnant, but at the same time I didn't want a huge stomach and be really fat! So consider yourself lucky and your belly will come, it's inevitable!

Aww, i am sorry. Is this your first? I wager it rather is dependent upon how child is laying and what kind of you are consuming additionally. Since you are tiny to start with, plenty of petite females not often exhibit very swiftly. I am taking prenatal yoga and their are a couple of ladies which can be virtually as a ways alongside as me, and you'll slightly inform they are pregnant. Also, their are females which can be additional alongside than me and I appear extra pregnant that they do haha! All you must fear approximately is that child's healthful and i am certain in the following few weeks out of nowhere, you're going to begin to exhibit. Make certain you're consuming adequate...and also you best want three hundred further energy an afternoon. But, i am with you on short of to exhibit...and short of the sector to understand! But, you do have a few abilities elements not like a few of us: one million.) Creepy men are not bobbing up and caressing your stomach, two.) You get to put on your lovable garments longer (and their are plenty of lovely maternity garments however so highly-priced), and three.) You wouldn't have all that further child weight to lose! So, take abilities even as you'll and meanwhile...experience your being pregnant just like the leisure folks...whether or not you are as significant as a pumpkin or as small as a lemon. Also, appear ahead to these flutters you will have to begin to believe quickly. How cool is that correct? Best of success.

with my first pregnancy i didn't show until i was 7 months pregnant and like you I'm tall (5 foot 10 inches) it did seem like overnight i suddenly had a belly. all the sudden people were telling me i looked pregnant. be thankful you don't have that big belly getting in your way. I'm pregnant again with my second and i showed much sooner and at 6 months i think I'm bigger now that i was my whole first pregnancy. but like they say everything has already been stretched out so it easier the second time. good luck with the baby!!

I delivered my son this Halloween @ 9lbs 8oz and nobody that didn't know me knew I was prego until I was almost 8mos. along. I am 5'10" w/athletic build also....very hard to explain why you are walking funny when you aren't showing. If you are built like me then you may not show much at all even at 9mos! Which hey, don't complain!!! You can fit into your clothes longer!

I'm 5'2" and at 8 months some people still couln't tell.
And yes it does happen rather suddenly. Stark naked it wasn't until about 7 months that my belly popped, one day nothing, the next day bam! Well ok it was noticable to me and hubby.
Though, I gotta say, not looking pregnant cuts down on the DUMB comments from strangers.

Hi. with my first pregnacy i started to show at 3 months then with my second pregnacy i didn't show till 6 month along and i just popped out. So ever baby is diffrent. you got to look at is the baby in the back area of your body, are you tall, are you big waisted. these all play a sign in not showing early. i really wouldn't worry about it. I am on my 3rd pregnacy and and still barely showing and am 11 weeks along.
