I only regift if the second person can actually use the item more than me. I hate getting christmas gifts..I feel very greedy to get one and I am very lucky to already have what I have so I tend to turn my gifts around and give them to someone else who needs a smile.

I honestly think that all depends on the condition of the gift. If it never even came out of the package, or looks like brand new, sure why not. Better to have someone enjoy it than sit and collect dust at your house. But if you have actually used it in some way, or if it is supposed to have a box and does not, then that's kinda tacky.

Yes, as long as the receiver has no idea it's a regift, it's never been used, it has all the original tags or packaging.

I don't find anything wrong with re-gifting, unless your giving the gift back to the person who gave it to you in the first place. I don't know why people make such a big deal out of it. If you don't like the gift someone gave you, what's wrong with giving it away to someone who you know will enjoy it?

Absolultely... as long as you are VERY clear that you received the gift from someone else rather than trying to pass it off as something YOU bought. That would not be cool at all!

and as long as it's not the person who gave it to you the year before. That happened to us once. We didn't mention it. turned out we actually liked it so everybody won! exeept for the people who got something they couldn't use all year.

It's OK no matter what. You can do whatever you want with your gifts.
