Surely the universe won't be swallowed by a black hole and everything will end... This is a very good question. Four or five days ago i have watched to a documentary movie( his name is What the F**k do we know). There some intelligent people talks a lot about the Universe. The Universe is in his most EMPTY. There is a lot of empty space... and after this part you strangely meet a mass of substantiation which is called star, planet, galaxy, black hole or everything else you want. Quantum Physics try to explain that the Universe will never end, because there are a lot of parallel universes that coexist with this one. I strongly recommend to see this movie. There you will surely learn things which will change your vision about life, about Universe.

When does the universe end? Physically or temporally?
current belief or understanding of the physical nature of the universe is that although it is not infinite in size, it has no boundries. Much like Earth, being a globe, is finite in dimensions, but you cannot reach a physical boundry of its surface, you end up back where you began.
As for age or when it will end, the answer is uncertain.

When you lost consciousness last night, for all intents and purposes that was the end of it. Gone. Phhht. Nada. On top of that, there was no guarantee - A You would gain conscious awareness of anything ever again, as in morning. and B The world you remember would reappear should you awaken.
Fortunately ( or unfortunately ) you keep thinking the same thoughts consciously and unconsciously and as a consequence your perceptions remain fairly same-o, hence, you keep experiencing the same world and having the same or similar experiences.
Change your thinking...Change your world...Change your experiences.
