well i dont know if its true or not but from experience yea..i know a friend who got bucked teeth and she looke a bit funny when she was younger cos she's skinny, tall but has got a big head and funny teeth. now she's a college graduate and she's darn pretty, she can have any guy in the world.....she's still skinny and tall, but that makes her look like a model.
when i was 13 i looked pretty wierd too...i had braces, strange hair, strange sharp eyes, strange big face...nothing looks right on my face...now i'm 21 and it'd all settled down right finally. and i can say i looked alot better than when i was younger...my sharp eyes is now my best feature and my face had thinned down. i have had always been teased about my big lips and every girl envys' it.
my other friend didnt look pretty at all when she was a teenager......now she's doing commercials...
but i know one girl who was the ugly duckling....and still is today..i guess its not always true.

First off, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Secondly, I suppose it's "ugly duckling" syndrome.. One day that ugly duck might just blossom into a beautiful swan.. Some people grow into their beauty and features, as your friend very well might..

seems are significant. If I evaluate them unattractive, then no, it does no longer count a lot. It takes plenty for me to discover someone "ugly" in spite of the undeniable fact that. I propose, many times what human beings see as ugly, isn't what I see as ugly. i does no longer be able to be with someone I wasn't bodily in touch in. i imagine that a persons' personality or like you stated, inner attractiveness, makes someone more beneficial alluring both bodily and mentally.

It's pretty much wishful thinking. Usually ugly children grow into even uglier adults.
However, if your friend puts in a lot of effort and spends a bit of money on herself when she grows up, she could probably make herself look pleasantly average and normal. After being ugly, that would probably seem like being pretty to her.

Maybe it is to comfort themselves or they try to think of the story "The Ugly Duckling" and believe that they might first be ugly but grow up to be beautiful.

They are liar's. They do not want to say the truth, because it hurts sometimes. Just imagine, looking at a child, an ugly child, Probably an over weight child and saying it will be pretty when it grows up. They are not all like me, I always tell the truth, It's not easy, being me.
