It's different for everyone. I was on BC pills for 4 years, and got pregnant 2 weeks after I stopped taking them.

It could happen immediately or it could take you a few months. Be prepared for either one!

Good luck!

It really could be instant... it may not take too long to get pregnant after coming off the pill. Some women have cycles that turn back to "normal" the month after. Some women take months. Take prenatal vitamins immediately, though. You never know and it is best to be safe than sorry.

Every person is different. Some women get pregnant if they skip 1 pill....some women are stuck trying for 6months or more after getting off birth control. You would deffinatly have to wait for ovulation to come around which could be 2-3 weeks from the time you stop your pills.

i was on birth control pills for 2 1/2 years and i stopped taking them in august of this year...and got pregnant the early part of september. so like most of the answers have said, it all depends on your body. so i wouldn't think 4 months would really make that big of a difference. good luck though!!

Well it can be anywhere from immediately or up to a year depending on you. The average person takes around 3-4 months of trying to conceive.

It took me 8 months to get pregnant with my daughter after stopping the pill, and only 1 month to get pregnant with my son after stopping the depo shot. It all depends on YOUR body.

it depends on what birth control you were on. if you were on the pill or patch you can get off of it and get pg automatically. if you were on the shot its not so good chance of getting pg that easy i got off in july and still haven't been able to get pg.
