i heard this from my friends step-dad. he's a archetectural drafter with 3 houses and he clips coupons. when i asked why he was clipping 'em when he's rich (and i didn't care how rude that seemed) he responded, 'hey some rich people do clip coupons. just becuz we're rich doesn't mean we should be cheated.' and then when i was gonna respond my friend pulled me outta the room.

Thats how they get rich my friend,greed,pure & simple..we are all capable of it,some just like to call it budgeting I suppose..=)

Jesse Ventura, former professional wrestler and former governor from Minnesota, is a multi-millionaire. He was at a Minnesota Timberwolves basketball game, and a promotion was going on that if the Timberwolves scored over 100 points in the game, everyone's ticket was worth a free burger at a certain fast food restaurant.
When the Timberwolves scored over 100, not only was he excited, but he made sure to take the ticket stubs back from the people that was with him, (his guests for the evening). He wanted them to know that since he bought the tickets, it was his free burger. What a skin flint. Unbelievable, but par for the course for this blowhard who is always looking for a nickel in the gutter.

It's true. Some of them are so tight they squeak when they walk. Part of the reason they have money. The people with money don't necessarily dress to impress or drive Hummers. It's the wannabees!
Also, it seems the people with money will argue with you until they are blue if they think you cheated them out of a friggin' 10 cents or something!

i don't believe i have ever seen a salary or bank account restriction on a coupon. have you? if he wants to it is his concern, his conscience, his responsibility
