I would think it should be worth a nice amount.....Sal "The Barber" Maglie was one of the best pitchers during that era....they called him "The Barber" for he would give you a "close shave" if you got to close "his" plate.....for the matter of information he was the losing pitcher in Don Larsen's Perfect World Series Gem...ended up playing for the Yankees a few years later.....great pitcher from little I remember.....good luck with the selling of your ball....passed away in 1992..

Anything from that time period is going to have some decent value to it. Even more so because it's a NY team.

It depends on whither you can find someone who wants it. To some its probably worth $ 1000.00 - to me its worthless...
