Cold relief tablets usually don't have any effect on birth control pills. The over the counter kind anyway. There is no antibiotics in cold relief tablets. If you are in any doubt call the pharmacist and ask them. You didn't give the name of the specific cold medicine so that's the best answer I can give.

A cold-relief tablet is absolutely fine.
You correctly say anti-biotics affect the pill.... as does having an upset stomach... so if you've not had anti-biotics or had 'the runs' you'll be fine!

You will be fine. There are just a few antibiotics that can affect the pill. Antibiotics require a prescription. Practice the rule of all antibiotics interfere with the pill. Vomiting and diarrhea can drop the hormone level and thus interfere with the pill. Relax and enjoy the holiday.

The most effective birth control pill, without the major side effects that some pills have, if Yasmin. I've used it for three years, and I've never had any problems. It even helps keep your weight down.

Cold pills will not effect the effectiveness of oral contraceptives. There are only a few antibiotics that will. There are no antibiotics in cold pills.
