I was 45 minutes late on my birth control pill *yasmin*...anything to worry about? do i need to use alternative forms or birth control? (we are, but i'm just curious)...thanks!

I think you're ok. The time rule is really for missed days not minutes. It's always a good idea to use alternate forms in those instances as a precaution because you never know. Good question because it's better to be safe than sorry.

You are fine. When they say to take it at the same time each day that is really just a rule to help you remember to take it each day. As long as you are within a few hours you should be fine.

there isn't anything to worry about if you were only 45 minutes late taking it.
