Marbury grew up in Coney Island, Brooklyn. He went to either Arch Bishop Malloy or Lincoln High School on Ocean Parkway, then went to Georgia Tech, I think for one year. Coney Island at one time was a big amusement park, that attracted celebrities like Houdini, Milton Burle, Clark Cable.
