I don't think you can ask a question like that!!
America have had some great singers past and present, Elvis and Whitney Houston to name a few!! The UK has also had some great singers like The Beatles and David Bowie!!
It's like saying Irish singers are the best in europe because Ireland used to win the Eurovision Song Contest every year!!
Lets just say it doesn't matter where the artist come from all that matters is they are good at what they do!!

Well, it's all a matter of opinion, isn't it. Can't say I agree with you tho' because all the best tenors seem to come from Italy, the best composers (Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, et al) come from Europe, the best blues, jazz and soul singers from the USA, choirs from Wales. The only "best" I can think of coming from England are groups like the Beatles, Rolling Stones and so on
Oh, by the way "Your worst nightmare", Tom Jones is NOT American, he comes from Wales, part of GREAT Britain.

I beg your pardon? The late Alex (God No.2) Harvey,(the frontman with Sensational Alex Harvey Band) the man with the most powerful voice in Rock, was born in Kinning Park, Glasgow, Scotland..
And the man with the most blue-eyed, white soulful pop voice.. Marti Pellow, (lead vocalist with Scotland's No.1 selling pop band "Wet Wet Wet", was born, and raised in Clydebank, (. Glasgow), Scotland..
Oh and Bono (from Rock Gods.. "U2") was born in Dublin, Eire..
So the best voices in music are from England?.. Nae chance, Laddie..Celtic voices ARE the best.. except maybe the great Robert Plant's (lead vocalist with Led Zepplin), oh and a past pupil of the same college, my Partner attended (but NOT at the same time) Lol

i was talking about this last night, simon cowell reckons that britain will never have an artist that can conquer the world again, this is because our talent lies in the working class writers whos talent is now going unnoticed, people such as ray davies paul weller an that...they dont make money so they dont get signed anymore.
When i was in italy a singer told me if you get five guys in a band from britain and five guys in a band from italy , they british band ALWAYS sound better, no explanation, they just do?!!

The best singers ever are American! Smokey Robbinson, Ben E King, John Legend, Etta James the list goes on and on. Welsh singers are better too! Tom Jones, what a voice! TOM JONES IS WELSH!!! lmao!! how can you say he's american? He's from Pontypridd.

wales is sort of english... good english bands mainly good rock n roll bands metal sucks btw the who, led zep,the beatles, paul mcartney ,i hate god damn american patriots americas good n all but its not the ******* centre of the world so u can all shut the **** up
