It varies from person to person - the government guidelines are just that - guidelines.
your weight/age/gender/health and lots of other things influence it.
A little alcohol is good for you (assuming you're an adult)
A lot is suicide.

Department of Health guidelines recommend no more that 3-4 units (that's 1 1/2 to 2 pints of standard - not export strength - lager) for a man and no more than 2-3 units per day for a woman.

Safely 2 pints, 21 units= 10 and 1/2 pints is a weekly guideline.
Its rubbish cos i had about 14 pints on Saturday, but just have what you feel comfortable with.

As many as you would like. Milk is good for you. A pint of liquor is good to you. A pint of ice cream is good also. What kind of pint are you asking about?
