We moved from Baghdad to the Us 2 months ago and My husband family very abuse me but now only my husband abuse me
He said he would be nice to me after we got here to the
United States but is very mad because because we just found out I am pregnant with a girl not a boy and he thinks and that is why he thinks i cheated on him and i don't know what to do...... I never cheat before in my life how can i make him believe me?

Yor traditons and Culture is VEWRY different from american women. Although you are in the US now your Husband is still stuck in his culture of how things should be and how he were raised and you also.
US american women were not raised the same. I am sorry for your abuse and I do hope within time things get better. I do kinda know what you ae going through My EX and childrens father decided to become muslim after 11 years of us being together and expected the whole family to change. I tried but my marriage ended in a DIVORCE
Well theres nothing you can do about the baby being a girl he should have shot out more Y cromizones LOL obviously GOD wanted you to have a girl. If he continues to beat you call the police tell him in American men go to JAIL AND PRISON for Domestic Abuse AND IF IT BECOMES UMBEARABLE THEN DIVORCE HIM AND MOVE ON. I'm on your side. I have seen Arab men go and get another wife because the first one kept giving them girls and the second wife gave them girls and so on down the line. In another case the man and wife divorced; she married another and gave him a son.
They always immaturely put the blame on the girl. Here is Scientific -Biological fact. Males carry XY chromosones while females carry XX chromosones; making the decision biologically up to the male.
In Iraq you do have Biology I hope.
It sounds like his pride has been hurt. Perhaps it will pass, or he may get another wife, if that is the case remember my little story.
Sons are the most important thing to Arab men, and many of them push their sons to get another wife if she don't give him a son.

First of all, the sex of the child is always determined by the man, the woman has two cromosomes that are female (XX) and the man has one and one (XY) X for female and Y for male. any of the 2 from the man will join any of the 2 from the woman, and the result could be XX (girl) or XY (boy) and there is always a 50% chance one way or the other.
Find a way to explain him this so he won't be so ignorant. It is never up to anybody to choose the sex of their kids.

Well first of all you have no control of the sex of your child. In America I would tell you to divorce him and find someone who treats you like a human not a slave. You should have the right to speak your mind and not have to put up with abuse. I would find someone to help you and get out of the situation ASAP.

Does your husband not know that its the father that causes the sex of the child. The mother has nothing to do with that. I forget the name of it. Ask your doctor. No one knows how to change those Eastern men. They just seem to be mean S.O.B'.S

let him take a dna test when he baby is born that will show him the baby is his.and if he is abusive you need to leave him for yours and the babys sake this i america things are differnt here abuse is not tollerated here

get a dna test after the baby is born. then you can rub it in his face. not every man is going to produce a boy just because that is what they want.
