OK. On a bit of a whim I decided to buy some acrylic tube and acrylic balls. The plan is to make a little toy (to add to her collection of millions) for my 14 month old that involves some tubes that she can "post" the balls into and then watch them fall through the tube. Angles would be fine for this, but maybe it would be better to have bends instead. But how?

You can get a heat gun at a craft store. It is usually found in the stamp-ink section. It costs about $12. If you check their sale papers, you can get a 40% off coupon. Michael's and A.C.Moores have them. Just heat the tube slightly and bend carefully.

heat it very fine with hot water or 5 seconds in the microwave.
