According to the Walt Disney World website, these are the times of year with the lowest attendance (the best times of year to visit Walt Disney World)...

January (except New Year's Day) until just prior to Presidents' week in February
The week following Labor Day until just prior to Thanksgiving week
The week following Thanksgiving until the week prior to Christmas

Hope I could help!

I've been a regular at Disney for my entire life, and I can say without hesitation that October is by far the best time to go. The lines are next to nothing, and the weather is not quite so unbearable then. I make a point to visit all the parks in October. Late January/early February is also a good time, but it seems like there is a lot of ride maintenance going on at this time of year. Almost every year, at least one of our favorites is closed in Jan. This year Splash Mountain is scheduled to close for refurbishing.

Whenever you go, if you get there early, it's not so bad.

We always skipped school the day after Labor Day and headed up to DW. The park is EMPTY then and you can walk onto all the A list rides.
Also, dark but interesting, we had an FCAT reward trip to Disney 1 week after Sept. 11th , 2001 and we were, like, the only people there.

In terms of weather and having less people at the park I think that Super Bowl Weekend is ideal. The weather in late January/early February in Orlando is warm in comparison to 99% of the US, but it rains less often.

i like going to orlando in April/May time of year. the weather is good and the lines aren't long either. tho you may find early may is good if your flying. this year the best price was the first 2 weeks of may. though, last year when we went was the week of the 12th and that was the week alot of school trip happened. so this year we are flying down on the 5th and returning on the 12th.

I went the week after labor day. Most rides had no lines and the longest wait was about 10 minutes.

I have gone the last few years in January and the top wait time was 10 minutes and that was great.

The slowest time is between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I would consider that the perfect time. Short lines and tolerable temperatures.Have fun!!!
