Unless you know someone in the business with access to codes you will not get for free, nothing for nothing. Check out the following.
1) Contact the network it is locked into and request they unlock it, this can be expensive.
2) Local high street mobile shop, they have the ability to unlock most phones, they will charge you for the service.
3)Local market, many phone dealers will unlock phones for a small fee.
4) Internet sites offering codes sent to phone, but be aware that not always successful and you may have no comeback.
5) Internet search engine for sites that carry out unlocking on their premises, this will require you to send your phone to them, allow for the cost of sending and return postage, but should be guaranteed

You can buy unlocking codes off Ebay for most networks...
They usually cost less than £2. I've done it a few times....

most asians on the market have the equipment to do it and will charge you about 10 to 15 quid and sell replacement cards as well
