why do you think so?

There's no true & exact answer to my question. it's purely hypothetical.
what your answer reflects your experience in life, what would you lose first, and so on, to the last when confronted by involuntary isolation. We are all born loners & we all try to fill that emptiness with everything around us.
the question was to be rephrased as:
what is going to keep you going, when you know you have to make it on your own?
the ISLAND is YOU....
you will decide what stays as your last straw in the end.

but OMG, you're gonna make me hard to decide which answer should be the Best.
Well i guess id need more time.

Lets see..
-COURAGE, being rash and unable, by its very nature, to be restrained by calls of rationality, would propably jump foolishly right into the arms of danger and die first.

-FREEDOM would be the first rebel. It would break the hard working rules set by JUSTICE to ensure survival, and would propably get itself lost somehwere or get into real trouble by standing against everyone else and would die next.

-By now, resources have become real low and things got very tough. That's when LOVE becomes a lousy survivor, for it would insist on giving all of its share to others, and would die next.

-When the rations left become too low to accomodate 3 , JUSTCIE would decide that one has to sacrifice himself for the sake of the other 2. Since it made that choice it will fiund it JUST to offer itself for sacrifice, and so JUSTICE dies.

-WHen it's either me or you,FAITH would have more FAITH in hope than in itself, and therfore would chose to go and let HOPE live.

-ONLY HOPE REMAINS :)

hmm...ok, so the rule is, it doesn't matter who is happier, just who is the last survivor, so that means you have to come up with reasons why everyone else would die out.

First, I'd say freedom would go first. It wants to be free, so even though an island might be nice, it's still stranded, so freedom would go.

Second, I'd say Justice would go, because even though it is not right to die out, it would be seen as proper justice if they had no food or means of survival.

Third, I'd say hope would go, because even though it is hopeful of being rescued, it doesn't provide any of its own means other than hope.

Fourth, I'd say faith, becasue faith is like hope, but I think it puts in more than hope, so it can last a bit longer.

Fifth, I'd say courage, since the word itself means surviving through harsh odds.

And finally, the last survivor, would be love, becasue it would have no real reason to stay or go, but as long as there was another one it could be with, it would wait until the end. So even though courage is the strongest one, love wins out because it wouldn't leave anyone behind.

Either way, that's a pretty sick and twisted question, but a fun one!

Love of who? Your love of other humans may disipate, especially if you are having your Freedon and Justice revoked.

Faith is merely a concept in religious terms and should not be part of this question, because religion is so subjective. But if you are referring to Faith in man-kind, see the above paragraph relating to love.

Courage may be beaten down eventually, but courage depends on the individual, therefore seeing as we do not have a specific individual as a control, we cannot assume that it would last the longest.

Therefore, HOPE would survive the longest. No matter what happens, no matter what circumstance or situation you find yourself in, hope will constantly be present within your mind.

The human mind, and human innovation has been thrust with hope. In fact, hope is a building block to all the other feelings/qualities it went up against in your question.

Good question. Hope it is.

Freedom would love to be on a deserted island where no one could tell it what to do. But justice would try to interfere with freedom and the first fight would start. Courage would cheer them on. Two of these would die in the first melee. If courage was taking a lot of damage, faith would try to rescue its partner. Hope would continue to wait, expecting the situation to improve, however if faith was endangered, hope would try to help.
Only love would not enter the battle. But love loves freedom. The only possible way to come to a peaceable conclusion is for freedom to not offend justice.
Love can survive anything, but with everything else gone, is love enough by itself? I think maybe not.

Justice would be the first to go, oppression is natural in humanity.

Freedom would be next, almost suddenly after justice want.

Love would be next, but it would put up a fight. However, a lack of freedom would weaken love considerbly.

Faith would be next, for inhumane acts can easily kill it, and without love there is nothign to perserve it.

Courage would follow, after the oppression of injustice has squashed any courageous person.

Hope would be last, but barely. Once all courage, faith, love, freedom and justice is gone, there is nothign left to hope for. It may outlast a day after the others are gone, but it would surely die as well.

I would say freedom, its easy to fall in love, you have hope and faith in the one you love and getting of an island, if its a small island there may be justice, therefore, that leaves you with freedom, besides how many people no feel they have freedom? Thats what i think

The answer is FAITH. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) Love fades in the absence of FAITH; without FAITH, Hope is empty; All courage is derived from the FAITH in strength, and strength is built, in FAITH, that you can accomplish a goal; without FAITH, justice does not exist; IF there is no justice, then what is Freedom? Have FAITH. IT's all we really have to hold on to in a world like we live in!

faith. love doesnt always last. hope is in the hands of god. courage isnt always present, justice will be overidden where government does not stand, freedom is always limited by some other force/power( so why is everyone picking freedom?? you're on an island you cant get off...so how are you free??)...so its gotta be FAITH. for sure

so what do you think?

Love

Love, because without love none of the others couldn't even possibly survive. Hope would be merely self-centeredness, faith without love would merely be ideology, courage without love would be recklessness, justice would be legalism and freedom without love would be anarchy.
