Hi,
NO!!!!!
Fame in the modern era is not healthy..
As for wealth.. well.. having enough money ot live the life you wish for is important.. having billions.. is like fame.. probably not healthy..
in both cases I think a normal life would be impossible and fear would play a regular part of lfe as would social isolation and possibly other nasty issues could surface as a result.. like not being yourself after reading a few too many bad reviews..
Fame for good will.. for humanitarianism is different though.. people would love you and smother you but you would not have the fears.. and most likely if you were a humanitarian you wouldn't have the money.. you could also move freely in public.. like Steve Irwin type fame and fortune.. as opposed to say.. Bill Gates who I doubt would be walking around in back alleys the way Irwin did.. office workers alone would have his nuts!
If however the media paints a picture.. then you will have to live up to it in public or risk being written off and publicly used as a bad example.. this happens regular with movie actresses and especially pop stars, who it seems are on a revolving conveyer belt.. new popettes and himbos every year.. with one hit wonders.. actually RELY on any kind of media.. be it good or bad.. because in a nutshell.. these pop stars have very little talent.. and rely on sensationlism about drug abuse and raunchy sex acts.. to sell their lousy records..
So in a way it's a two way street..
The most powerful and sucessful people on Earth.. are NEVER the ones who have any public image.. the one's who run the businesses in the background and HIRE the famous actors.. they have the best lives.. they can still live a normal regular life without fears.. and yet command the power to affect people's lives.

No if i was a billionaire and i had any thing that i ever wanted then
What would be left to enjoy i would be boarded. But the way i am now wow when you work for something when you save for it
Then you have enough to buy it how much more do you appreciate what you have. Being a celebrity i would not like, i don't think i could handle the media or the fame. But if by change
I did become a billionaire over night then i would look at ways to help the less fortunate than my self
May God bless you and Merry Christmas love jan d

Being a celebrity, no a billionaire... well I could do ALOT of good and help alot of people. As for me personally... I will never fit in with wealthy people. I'm way too much of a redneck!! I wouldn't get any of their "protocol" right. Not to mention, I can't justify spending money on some of the things they do!! As far as making me happy... well if I can do for others, then yes it would make me happy!
THANX for asking!

I think being financially sound would make me VERY happy. No more worrying about bills. I would not tell anyone about my new-found riches but I would definitely share the wealth with those that needed it. Being a celebrity is for the birds though, I would never want to be in the public eye that way.

I don't really care about being famous or having millions or billions of dollars. My main goal in life is to be a game programmer because that is what I believe I was meant to do ever since I played my first video game; you can sort of call it my calling. I simply want to program good games and have gamers appreciate it. That's all I really care about doing, not be some stuck up person who thinks they are better than everyone else.

A billionaire - yes. I would give most of it away to my favourite charities. I would be able to make all of my family including cousins into millionaires. Not a celebrity - they get pulled apart in the papers and the media. They live their life under a microscope

I wouldn't mind having some of the billion, but you can leave the celebrity status behind. I don't think i'd feel comfortable with the world knowing all my business. Happiness comes from within, not from money or status. It might make you feel better, but in the longrun you wouldn't be happy.

I've asked myself this questions many times, and I personally think that if I hadn't moved away from San Diego to Italy, I definitely would have pursued my music career to become some sort of celebrity. It probably would have made me happier.
Money isn't everything...... BUT IT SURE DOES HELP!!! ;)
