Ok, I really don't understand Open for Business. My sim just purchased Cafe Petite, but I just don't understand that employees, how to get "budges" and stuff like that. HELP!

There are different badges that your sim can get that will make them faster and better at that specific task.
For example, if you put a sim at the cash register and they don't have a register badge then they will be really slow when a customer comes to the counter. To get the badges you must get your sim to perform that task for a sepcific amount of time. So if you want your sim to be the main register person at your shop then you should leave them at the register until they get a badge. They will get a bronze badge first, then silver then gold. It is the same for the flower arranging etc. Get your sim to make the flowers and while they are making them they gain more skill and eventually get a badge. E mail me if you need more help.
