Hello Jake,

Yes lecherous seemingly, but more for the old blokes watching than him. I really found Bob Todd funny though. The whole thing was sexist though, I didn't really like it. I think it was aimed more at men.

I absolutely loved watching him when I was a kid! Apparently, I could be heard throughout the house laughing at his show & I wanted to be one of the women who got on the show when I grew up (I was a strange kid, so what?).

Unfortunately, I can't really stand to watch more than 10 minutes of it at a time, but I can finally understand what he was saying on the show (I couldn't understand what anyone said in the '80s).

He was funny because he was lecherous (but I always hoped he was a nice guy off-screen).

Benny hill was a very talented writer and comedian.. he lived a few doors away from my nan with his mother .i was lucky enough to meet him a few times when i was little and he would let me scrump apples from his trees and he would give me 50p to get his paper occasionally

I actually liked his show even though he was a dirty old man. *giggle* I ended up watching it when I was little with my dad. My mom hated it.

Outdated silly material. Wish BBC America would stop playing it.

It was racy and humorous for its time, but it's sad how he died: alone on Easter weekend, and no one knew he was dead for several days. :(
