No, because the cycle of the seasons provides constant change, while recuring events, like Christmas, provide stabilty. It's a balance between the two.

I enjoy and cherish Christmas traditions for this reason (among others).

Yes, actually, they do. Christmas has become a retailers holiday, and not one to remember the "reason for the season". People go crazy, and put themselves into debt to buy buy buy. No thanks!

Also, I moved away from family years ago, and celebrate with no one. Putting up a tree and decorations is just a waste of time and money for me.

Yes, I am bored, bored around Christmas time, and Thanksgiving, and Easter, and all the rest of the b.s. "retail" holidays!

Now, Halloween, that is a different story! ;-)

Although it bores me, I still say it: Happy Holidays!

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! OUR FAMILY TRADITIONS IS WHAT WE
LOOK FORWARD TO THE MOST. IT IS THE ONE THING YOU
CAN COUNT ON AND THAT IN ITSELF IS VERY COMFORTING AND PLEASURABLE. SOME OF MY OWN FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORIES ARE THE TRADITIONS
THAT WE DID EVERY YEAR. AS AN ADULT I HAVE CERTAINLY KEPT AND MADE MY OWN TRADITIONS
