I will be the 2nd to post about this product. Bare Minerals or Bare Essentials. I love these product but I love the product by its sister company Mineral Essence even more. Pretty much any off these mineral makeups is the way to go. Its the perfect make up for someone who doesnt like a lot of "goop" on thier face and want to give the impression that they are not wearing anything at all. The down fall of this product is that it contain mica which has a slight shimmer affect. I like this effect in one of the finishing products but not the powder fondation. I rather Mineral Essence for my fondation and concelar. Go to baremakeup.com and check out what they have. Call them if you have trouble picking your color. I bought two colors the first time I purchased the product and both fondation colors worked for me. They blend really easily and are water proof which is great for humid areas! I've moved to Brazil and I cant imagine using any other makeup because it would not work. It would just melt right off my face. Bare Essentails and Bare Minerals can be found online or at Sephoria. Just pick your makeup based on your activity. If you want light and a barley there makeup look..go with the minerals! If you are looking for heavy makeup..try Alexis Vogel..I also LOVE her glosses and lipstiks. She will show you how to apply your makeup like a professional too. Just search for her stuff online. Good luck..

Mac is quite good & not that expensive. . Rubie & Millie are good. Bobbly Brown is good. Tesco's line do some nice things also (their cream blushers are pretty good). Vincent Longo is my favourite so far but they don't sell them everywhere (maybe Harrods or Selfridges or Harvey Nichols).
youn have to try different ones & see how they feel, look on ur skin, also test how long they last(some fade really fast).
I'd just go & look around & test different ones with a friend & you'll begin to get an idea of what u like.

BARE MINERALS!!! LOVE THIS STUFF!! If you go to a Bare Escentuals shop, they can help match you to your color foundation and they have a gazillion other eyeshadows and different things. They gave me a free makeover and it was so fun! The foundation really makes my face look luminous and soft. So far I have the foundation in my skin color, but for Christmas, I asked for the Starter Kit that includes foundation and brushes, etc. Well, hope you could try it out! Maybe you have a friend who has it that could let you try it on? Haha well I tried on my friend's bare mineral foundation a while back and it was the wrong color and I thought it just looked awful:) So maybe you could go by a bare escentuals boutique or Ulta or something and they could help. Love your own individual and special beauty that God has given you apart from makeup!!!

The best drugstore eyeshadows are from Milani...very high-pigmented. Prescriptives (which you can get from a department store) has the best shades for foundation (they can custom-blend to match your skintone). MAC has a large selection of...well...everything. But many say their foundations break people out. They have MANY colors of eyeshadows, brightly colored, shimmery, matte, natural, dark, anything under the sun. MAC is moderately priced compared to the rest of the department store brands. If you have a Sephora store near you, go there. They have TONS of different cosmetics brands. And you can try everything out!

when i want to find some good make up n fancy a change, i go to the desks and ask for their help, they sometimes give you a mini makeover and then you can really tell if the makeup is good for you, as everyone is different what may be good on one person may not be good on you, so i think thats a no risk way to really finding out without spending loads! x

It's a big mix, for a night out I wear:
Estee Lauder base
Physician's formula powder and bronzer
burt's bees concealer and lip shimmer
any mascara and eye liner (they're all the same)
and Revlon eye shadow
during the day, just concealer and powder

Go to Sephora! They have all types of makeup and the nice thing about Sephora is that there is an open sample of everything for you to try. Furthermore, you don't have to have someone help you at Sephora unless you want to -- so you can browse at your own pace. Check out their website at www.sephora.com to find store locations.

I use Maybeline Dream Matte Mouse in the foundation, blush, and eyeshadow, they are about $8 (tax included) a pop. They look very natural and it feels if you have nithing on. They have some pretty pinks. I also use their lipgloss.
