They don't influence the music scene any any way shape or form. If you are a DC fan then you may think different, but they are just a huge rip from older, better emo music that started in the mid eighties in the underground scene.
DC in no way has done anything influential to music... EVER. that's the truth, take it or leave it.

Maybe by helping commercialize emo and turn it into some tweener MTV pop garbage.
