I'm not afraid of flying, but I've had a couple bad experiences. Once was on my way to Greensboro, NC we flew into a cloud wall. I, of course, was on the window seat, and couldn't see anything. Plane started rocking, and it made me HIGHLY nervous..Ugh..

I never was afraid of flying, till I had my children, now I worry a lot about it, not so afraid but I don't feel comfortable.
I did not really have an experience.( I hope I never will )
It is not a nice feeling being in the air and nothing is holding you!!

I'm terrified of it and not really sure why. I always have been. I'm not scared of heights or hot air balloons, it's really a fear of getting on an airplane. I know all the statistics, that its actually safer than driving and all that but it's just an irrational fear I have. I figure if I'm on a boat and something goes wrong, maybe I can swim and have a chance, but I can't fly!!!

Hate flying, I'd rather swim.
Plane dropped for about 2 seconds, while landing at LA. After that I hated flying.

no i am not afraid of flying. but i have had interesting experiences (that some would consider bad)

I'm not afraid to fly, but I haven't been on a plane in over 20 years because my godfather was killed in a plane crash.

Do you mean in or out of a plane? Uh, nevermind. No, all good so far. Just the passengers that make the rides suck. Like huge guys that take up my seat and theirs, and I spent half the ride with my face smashed into the window.
