Polar molecule have:
1) Linear Molecules (such as CO)
2) Molecules with a single H (such as HCl)
3) Molecules with an OH at one end (such as C2H5OH)
4) Molecules with an O at one end (such as H2O)
5) Molecules with an N at one end (such as NH3)

Nonpolar Molecules have:
6) All elements (such as O2)
7) Most carbon compounds (such as CO2)

H2S doesn't following any rules from 1 - 5 above so it's nonpolar.

HCL is polar (see rule #2)

CH4 is nonpolar (doesn't follow rules 1-5)

NH3 is polar (see rule #5)

Make sure you pick my answer as the best one. Thanks! ;)

ch4 İs nonpolar because the h pull the carbon directly at the opposite sides so c moves to nowhere

hcl is polar because cl is more electronegative

h2s is polar (it is special as h2o)not so sure

nh3 is polar

CH4 because it is bonded through dipersion and its lewis structure is symetrical.
