Does anyone know exactly how long it takes to get pregnant after you get off of the birthcontrol shot? It has been four months so far.

Drs say up to a year. I was on the depo shot for 8 years and after my first normal period I got pregnant... But it all depends on your body. It could be right away for it could take some time... If you are trying Good Luck...

It can take a year or more. People who are trying to get pregnant usually take longer than people who are not trying.

Sometimes it can take up to a year, if you have been trying for over a year I would talk to a doctor to get your hormone levels check and see if you are ovulating.

I agree I know it's frustrating. Most doctors ask you to try for a year before offer alternatives.

i went off the pill in Aug. 04 and didn't get pregnant till Aug 05.
