Is it a surprise there was such a fight in the Garden Saturday considering the participants?

1/3 of African-American males 20-29 are in the criminal justice system (incarceration, parole, probation, etc); therefore, I don't think it is surprising that this kind of physical brawling, fighting will occur from time to time. I believe this is normal behavior within the framework of your demographics in the NBA. Is this a misconstrued observation or on target?

I'd say your right on. If you look at an aerial photo of that incident you'll see a big blob of one color (and it aint white). When you get all them jungle monkeys together, they're bound to start fighting over bananas :)

Oh and to the nutjob that brought up hockey...when is the last time you seen a fight at a hockey game continue into the streets? It doesn't happen because your not dealing with people that are angry at the man for keeping them down :)

your pretty much right about the stats, but i dont think that is what caused this brawl. It was because New York has a terrible front office, terrible coaches, and terrible players and all that anger needed to be let out on somebody.

so what do you think about hockey players? does it still apply? and its sad that they let hockey players fight. hockey is a poor white trash sport
