I think his look is part of what makes him so funny.
No doubt, if he cleaned up he would still be funny, just not as interesting to watch.

When he was cleaned up, he was not famous. He was doing comedy skits for many many years now. So... the answer would be no. He didnt get famous until he took on his role as a hill billy cable guy.

NO - the look goes with his crazy jokes and he can be hilarious. He actually started in Florida at our local radio station and was a cable guy. Funny!

I don't think so. I mean, if Weird Al cut off his hair, shaved his moustache and got contacts, he just wouldn't be Weird Al. Larry the Cable Guy just wouldn't be himself without the cutoff flannel and ball cap! :)

No because then all the weight will go to his brain and then he is going to act all stuck up and crap.....They all always seem to do so. Any ways I think he's just fine the way he is and maybe his size goes with his character.

Yes, but he wouldn't have the appeal he does now. The reason he is able to reach so many people is because he looks like an average man, like someone you might know.
