There is a fill plug on the side of these transmissions. The vehicle needs to be on a hoist to get to it. Unfortunately they are not like other automatic transmissions that have a dip stick that can be used to check the fluid levels.

the automated transmission fluid point is different than oil, you DO prefer to make sure it with the engine working, and the trans in park (impartial for some autos). EDIT: everyone telling you to make sure ATF point with the engine off has no thought what the **** they're talking approximately. the automated transmission has its very own fluid pump that has to fill the torque converter in the past an precise fluid point would properly be seen.

Level Surface
Engine running
In PARK
Brake Set
OPEN HOOD
on LEFT REAR side look for a dipstick. It will be a long one. Might say trans on it.
Pull it.
Wipe it off
Reinstall it
Pull a second time and look at the level of the reddish oil.
should fall in between the hash marks that say low and Full.

There is a plug in the trans that has to be removed to check the level. You need to have it warm and level. Remove plug, if oil comes out it is full. If not add till it does.
