I am vegetarian-oriented so there will be no turkey. But where I live, there is plenty of fish and I do eat that on occasions. I am looking forward to boiled fish and johhny cake with some grits and hot cocoa or bush tea. Afterwards I plan to take a nature walk with friends/family/whoever and birdwatch for king herons, cranes, coutes, chimmies and other birds that come to tease my cat. I will take my camera along to photograph what I see. The walk may end at the beach; and if the weather is fine, I'll take a dip. Otherwise, I will wade and feel the refreshing ocean on my feet. Of course , no day is promised to us, so if God wills it, I expect to enjoy that day in tranquility. When I get back home, I will be ready for fruit cake.

I'm job hunting, trying to keep my spirits up. I'm listening to holiday music, and watching holiday shows on tv. I'm helping my sister with her kids and planning our Christmas day dinner. Doing a little baking and trying to enjoy it the best I can since I don't have a dime to my name. I'm blessed to be alive.
