Okay, there are four questions that I would like to have answered about Nintendogs:

1. When you are walking your dog, I've noticed that there are blue spots on the top-screen map. I've also noticed that they correlate with wherever the dog pees. But is there any more signifigance to the blue spots than just that?

2. I've heard that you can get items by also tapping on the ground when walking your dog. Are there any specific signals or places that you can tap to get items, for example, the blue spots in the first question?

3. Are there any special things you can do to help increase the chance of finding the Fireman's Helmet and Jack Russell Book?

4. And finally, what are some ways to increase your dog's happiness? And how can you tell whether you're dog is happy or unhappy?

1. When you meet another dog and you are near a blue spot, the dogs are going to get angry with each other.

2. I don't believe this is true.

3. No
4. To increase your dogs happiness take it out for nice long walks, but don't drag it. Play ball or catch in the park. As for checking happiness, I believe it can be found at the same screen were it says if your dog is happy or not.
