so my period is late, this happens sometimes to me when i don't eat enough, but i did this month, i didn't have unprotected sex, but you still always here about teenage girls getting pregnant, i'm not ready to have a child...i haven't even finished school yet..i just don't know what to do. It is to early to tell anyone about my suspition cause i'll be seen as the family failure. What do i do, when can i offically tell that i'm pregnant??(is there any way to tell without using the test and of course not getting your period)

besides not having a period n not taking a test i would say body changes but i would best suggest you go see a doctor!!

If you didn't have unprotected sex, it is LESS LIKELY that you are pregnant, but it still means that the possibility is there if you were fooling around with a guy and he got any semen into your vagina. The only way to be 100% sure is to take a pregnancy test. All you have to do is pee on a stick, surely it's not that hard.... the more you delay it, the more trouble you'll have if you turn out pregnant and have to inform your family. Unless you are sure you are pregnant, you don't need to tell your family.
Please just take a pregnancy test!! They are inexpensive and sold pretty much everywhere!

Wow, i'm in the same boat you are, i just turned 17 friday Dec. 15th, and learned im pregnant...possibly..i've taken 2 preg tests which were positive. What convinced me to get a test, was i was having these horrible cramps for a week or so, but no period. Then my breasts were SUPER tender and...my stomach, like lower stomach was tender too. I say look for that. Though, i just posted a questions asking if all thats normal lol..so...yah. Hope all goes well with ya cheeka. I'm afraid to tell my rents. I hate the look of disappointment in my mothers eyes...I AM the family failure lol. plus my man is 18 and im 17 lol. Uh Oh!! :O Good Luck!!

Wait for your period... and stop stressing.... STRESS is the largest factor in making your period come late, the more you stress is the worst it will get on you. Dont tell your parents until you are 100% positive you are pregnant.
If you cant afford a home test then have a friend of yours or an adult that you can trust take you to your local womens clinic, they will give you a free test and tell you if you are pregnant and all of your info is kept secret and confidential even from your parents.
But I do really doubt that you are pregnant, just calm down, stop stressing, and I bet your period will show up.

You said you didn't have unprotected sex, but did you have sex at all? If so, you could be pregnant. The best way to tell is by a test. You can have any or all pregnancy symptoms and still not be pregnant.

The only way is to take a test, but if you have not had unprotected sex since your last period I wouldn't worry about it, you should probably talked to a doctor about 1) your eating habits and 2) birth control options.

Get an EPT ( Early Pregnacy Test ) kit from any drugstore or supermaket. They are close to 100% accurate and costs like less than 10 bucks. If it turn out to be positive, it will be good to tell it to your family. They will definitely feel bad for what has happened but they will definitely be the one that will give you moral support and guidance. In other words, face your problem.

nope, you either take the test. . . . or wait and see what happens. If you are having sex you can be pregnant with or without protection. Your period can also be delayed for a number of reasons including stress, hormonal changes (other than pregnancy), illness, and a variety of other reasons. If you suspect you are pregnant, but an inexpensive home pregnancy test.

Try Planned Pregnancy, get some birth control pills if it turns out you're not pregnant
If you think you are, the only way there is to know really is testing and not getting your period. Of course, you could wait nine months and see...lol

well what u have to do is just get a pregnancy test and maybe get one of ur friends to the father of the chield to get it for u and do it at school or at a friends house and make sure u do it twice and if it comes positive 2x then u might want to start thinking on a good way or a good ocation to tell ur parents and by the way make sure that ur bf is there too.
