How old is "older"? Most people in Vegas were boomers or elderly, and families with kiddies. I am in my 20's and I thought Vegas was BOR-ING! But I am from NY so...Try show. There is a lot of free entertainment at the hotels as well. Pen and Teller is good, maybe Tom Jones, Cirque Du Soleil (awesome) or the Blue Man Group? Walking around the Venetian was fun, and so was eating out in Vegas. There are lots of good restaurants. Try going to the MGM Grand and see the lions (its free). The Monte Carlo has a good brewery and an aquarium ($). The Flamingo hotel has penguins and Flamingos on their patio and the Circus Circus has circus acts all day (free).

I was there last week and stayed at circus circus. On monday we just missed the bus at the bus stop so we decided to walk to the next one, well we missed that one also. So we decided to walk and ended up at Mandalay Bay. From there we walked in and out of most casinos on our way back to the hotel. We did stop and put in a couple bucks in the machines enough to get our energy drink(corona). I took over 150 photos that day. Tuesday when i woke up calfs hurt a little. left at 9am got back around 430-500pm. So if you are looking for sometging to do in 1 day -that is one thing you can try. We even made it up in the Eiffel Tower. Weather was awesome short sleeve shirts 60 degree weather all week. That helped out also.

You have to lose a little bit of money, but most of the hotels have free shows outside such as at Treasure Island they have a pirate show that is pretty good, Mirage has a volcano outside, Bellagio has some awesome water fountains... Other than "the Strip" theres not much there

Visit the Bellagio.
They have a spectacular water fountain show out front of the hotel (free) a beautiful atrium garden inside (also free)... hell, even their lobby is considered an 'attraction'. They also have an Ansel Adams exhibit at their art gallery, that costs something like $15. Have fun, play safe and wear comfortable shoes.
