Its only worth the price that you can find some one willing to buy it for...
I like the Antique Roadshow, and thier pricing of this and that, and when you go to sell it, you cant find a person in the World who would "give" you that price, because they dont happen to be around, or the market went south for the moment.
(In my house, we happened to have a lot of antiques, and my Wife's girlfriend brought her grifriend over and she "marveled" at the antiques we had...My Wife said, "What antiques? These are our every day things we "use"..." When we finally decided to get rid of them in a yard sale, we couldnt find ANYONE who would give us a dime for them! Gold rim dishes and all the collectibles...It just went to the Salvation Army after we were done, to just get rid of them)..So you see, its only "valuable" if you can find some one to buy it.
Go on Ebay and see if you can find someone selling the item, or some other auction place. Its a good place to start.
I wish you well..

check out a site called Kovels Collectibles. They actually have a number of sites all listed under "Kovels"
You can sign up and look through their articles and you can also get either 3 or 5 free personal appraisals.
