Brian Setzer Orchestra - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree & many more of his Christmas songs use electric guitar. Two good Christmas CDs - Boogie Woogie Christmas and more recently, Dig That Crazy Christmas. Love him! He rocks! Both CDs are available on Amazon or on iTunes.

Could be Mannheim Steamroller, an "18th century classical rock" group founded by Chip Davis, and co-founded by Jackson Berkey, well-known for their modern recordings of holiday music (notably Christmas).
