bah humbug ; someone once told me , you don't have a problem unless your heart isn't beating and you aren't breathing; he had cancer and died but he put things in perspective for me; he was the owner of local hardware store and I was in there to purchase something; he brought me back to reality; people , smile and enjoy even the small things; you will never get this minute, hour , day back ; don't waste it on wishing your life away; enjoy even the hassles , it means you are alive ; the alternative isn't quite so pleasant but it will be hassle free ; is that what you want right now; smile and be happy; you are alive, you are loved, etc ; be happy for what you have and stop complaining

This Christmas, No. I am not excited as I have not been excited for the last 2 Years. Christmas in 2007, I am extremely excited because it will be spent with my wife and 7 children. Family and the Birth of our Savior is what it is all about but being that I am overseas working, I will have to be happy knowing that mine still loves me and will be doing what they can to enjoy the holidays for one more year.

As always, the holidays creep up on you and bite you in the *ss! Not enough money, not enough time, not enough good will, not enough alcohol!
I am sorry to be such a scrooge, but after so many years of running for everyone else, when does it become my time??
Well, this year is MY TIME!
Off to Jamaica after the holidays, where I will lay in the sand, drink and ogle the hot little cabana boys!
All for my own hedonistic pleasures!
Cant wait!

I'm not excited at all. Lost too many loved ones this year. It's gonna be a rough day for my whole family.

I agree with you. It's just not my thing. There is far too much hype about it, then when it rolls around and hasn't lived up to said 'hype', XMas just ends up being a complete disappointment. And nobody likes to be disappointed. But, to those who love Christmas, more power to you, to each their own, y'know?
