Cell phones and land line phones would never be allowed in prison. There are no source of communication between prisoners and outsiders without supervision.

If you are in Class A jail like house arrest you can have land line phone as well as cell phone also.It' depends what type of sentence caused you to put you in Jail.If you are a serious offender-you can't have Phone services,not you can use cellphone either.If you are terrorist-you can use land line as well as cellphone-cause Govt is taping your phone conversation under Patriot Act.

no thats a jail house phone used in many cases to cause terrable pain to the bad person by makeing then answer it all the time all day and all night
