Who knows. Is he your ex husband? How old are you? How old is he? How long were you married?

Give him a gift certificate to a nice hotel with a spa or jucuzzi and go there together and reconnect to each other. I hope you make your marriage work. There has to be something there if he is trying too. You never said why you divorced in the first place. Will it happen again ? (the reason you divorced.) Tell him you want a gift certificate for dinner for two. And then use it the same night you go to the hotel. You will be doing something together, and having fun doing it. Good Luck

If he is your ex but you are trying to reconcile with each other
maybe a nice sweater or bottle of cologne you may even consider getting a dvd or a good cd for his vehicle. He may even like it if you tossed some sexy photos of yourself into the present
remember you are trying to take it slow so don't go nuts maybe a classy watch if he doesn't have one don't go crazy on a TAG or a Rolex. But get something you know he will like and use old memories of times together may trigger something you know he will like. Have fun Shopping.

Base it on his interests and things that he likes to do. Does he have any hobbies? (like sports, music, arts, etc). You could try buying something that pertains to one of these in that sense...concert tickets, fishing trip, get a nice painting or picture, lessons of some sort...My ex used to love Scarface so I got him these black and white pastel pictures that some artist at the mall did...later on I completed his collection by getting one scene of Scarface done where it looks like he is Tony Montana. That place was great because you could give them basically any picture and they would recreate it to any size you wanted and done in pastels. It was expensive though but well worth it. Just some ideas....However, if you are really nervous about getting him something that he does not like, why don't you just get him a gift card to some store that he likes and if you're even indecisive about that you could just get him a gift certificate to the mall so then he has the option to shop where ever he wants. Good luck but don't stress out too much about it, I'm sure he'll like anything that you get him....

Make the gift for Christmas something thoughtful but small. Your focus should be on working things out and not what gifts to exchange for Christmas. Be real with each other. Good Luck!

Keep it small and simple. Meaning is more important than flashiness.
Something you can do together would be nice.

Hard to say since nobody else knows his interests. You lived with him...what does he enjoy?
