Nope, it's all an act, he has said so himself.

Yes actually he is. You're right the whole makeup thing and they way he dresses are a lot of the times for show, but he is actually what they call a priest in the satanic...um...religion (i guess you could call it that). He's a satanist, and pardon me for saying so but, he's a crappy human being. He's pretty much made it his life's work to bring down Christianity...he likes the idea of causing trouble and often times innocent people get hurt. His concerts are so out there they've been banned in some cities...he actually raped a girl on stage at one such 'show.' He's been arrested on several occasions in certain cities for all sorts of crude acts and other things. His 'music' (if you can even call it that) is pure hatred. Sorry about the whole "Marilyn Manson is crap" rant but he is. Why kids look up to him is beyond me...I'm 20 years old and I remember back in the day when he was really popular, but I never got into it. To answer your original question: Devil worshipper? Yes, he is. But don't be scared of him, be more scared of the people who look up to him. xoxo

I imagine he's tired of it by now. There are a lot of "Devil Worshippers" out there... It's a free country and we have freedom of religion. Metal and half of the darker musical movements in existence have all had their share of self-styled "Satanists" for decades... Very few of them actually give a damn about Satan {though actual Satanism does... the COS is a different story {:} So is the TOS for that matter}} or religion and many of them just like dressing in black and yelling "Hail Satan" once in a while. Lots of them just like freaking out their parents. Many of them are just going through a reactionary phase and will move on to something more interesting soon enough...

Yes, he is a dw. History says so. Why else would he have been such an unstable serial killer? Even the average killer doesn't compare to Marilyn Manson, who had followers. If you're any where near the freak, relocate. Of course, the name might be a coincidence or an inheritance. But hopefully killing isn't genetic.

He has said himself that he does not worship the devil. Anyone who is afraid of him has issues. He is not a violent person and he does not deserve to be treated the way he is treated nor does he deserve to be blamed for anything some dumbass kid does because his music is aggressive. He is a creative person who is not powerful enough to make people do anything they don't already want to do like go into a school and shoot their classmates. Just because he is against organized religion does not make him a bad person.

he does belong to the satanic church. and i believe he is a priest in it. I don't think he did it just to shock people, but I don't think he really worships the devil. (of course I don't believe in the devil, so I'm biased) but I think he is a bit dark, sarcastic, and naughty. I think he's a smart guy who also likes to mess with people. and scare small children. because, really, thats just funny. anyways, you could read his autobiography to get a better since of him.

Not according to him.
He was an honorary member, but he denied requesting it or having anything to do with it.
Who cares, anyway, he's an entertainer and a pretty good one, that's his #1 goal.
