They're open for sure on Jan.2nd, but sales (I guess you mean "end-of-season sales"...!!), if they respect last year's period, should start just on Jan.8th .

im not sure about any sales but i bet they are open if you know the specific store you want you could try calling or going on a website if its availible altho if it is a designer store like gucci or prada they most likely wont be having a sale altho you could try good luck :)
